Henry Lee Calloway

    Graveside services in remembrance of Henry Lee Calloway, age 48 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Dawson County Cemetery with Superintendent/Eulogist, Pastor J.E. Evans, Sr. officiating. 
    Family and friends will gather at 11:00 a.m. and will follow in funeral procession to the cemetery. 
    Funeral service arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.  
    Henry Lee passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Lubbock, TX. 
    Henry Lee Calloway was born on October 7, 1973 in Lamesa, TX. to Jim Bunton and Sally Ann Calloway.  Both parents preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his grandfather, Clarence Calloway, Sr., and grandmother, Corine Calloway; his uncles, Arthur Lee Calloway, Clarence Calloway, Jr., and Willie Calloway; his aunt, Kathleen Calloway.
    He attended Lamesa High School. He worked in the oilfields for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Henry Lee loved his family, friends, and his beautiful daughter, Sally Rose Calloway.
    Henry Lee leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Sally Rose Calloway of Lamesa, TX.; his brother, Jeramy (Tammy) Calloway of Odessa, TX.; his three aunts, Lorine (Jimmy) Scott of Casa Grande, Arizona, Ima Jean (Jerry) Martindale of Lubbock, TX., and Gwendolyn (James) Dane of Lamesa, TX.; his two uncles, Johnny Lee (Beatrice) Calloway of Lubbock, TX., and Robert Lee Calloway of Lamesa, TX.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
