Hector (Toy) Reyes

    Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Hector (Toy) Reyes age 72 of Lamesa, TX., at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Gonzales Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Hector passed away at his home in Lamesa, TX., on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on April 6, 1951, in Lamesa, TX. Hector was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Reyes, Sr., and Alicia C. Torres; grandparents, Sebero and Petra Conde; sisters, Diane Garcia, and Olga Moreno.
    Toy was born and raised in Lamesa where he was surrounded by loving family and friends. He was full of laughter, and he brightened everyone’s day with jokes or funny stories. He happily
spent Sunday’s cheering for his beloved Cowboys! He was a TV fanatic and enjoyed music and sports. He accepted everyone with an open heart, hugs, and a smile. Toy will be missed forever and always. The beautiful moments he shared with us will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace.
    Toy is survived by his children, his daughters, Mary Reyes, and Emily Reyes, both of San Angelo, TX.; his sons, Johnny Reyes of San Angelo, TX., and Hector Reyes, Jr., of Big Spring,
TX.; brothers, Martin Reyes, Jr. of Arizona, and Pascual Garcia, Jr. of Lamesa, TX.; sister, Irma Lozano of Lamesa, TX.; grandchildren, Juan Mata, Jr., Vivian Singer, Jessica Diaz, Johnny Reyes, Jr., Jacob Reyes, Elias Reyes; numerous relatives and friends.
