Heather Wood

    Funeral services for Heather Coulter Wood, 42, of Littlefield, will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., at Church of the Nazarene in Lamesa with Nicky Chapman officiating. 
    Interment will follow in Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Branon Funeral Home. 
    Heather passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Littlefield. She was born on June 15, 1976 to Donna and Laurence Coulter. She was a licensed vocational nurse. 
    Heather adored her children and would do anything for them. She loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Heather was fun loving, free spirited, adventurous, and lived life to the fullest.  
    She is survived by her children, Eric Wood and Chasity Wood; sister, Shonna Lawson and husband, David, of Lamesa; brother, Thomas Coulter and wife, Trish, of Lindale; aunts, Diana Shipp Rodgers of Littlefield and Suzie Noland and husband, Kirby, of Tawakoni; uncle, John Shipp and wife, Kathy, of Littlefield; grandmother, Audra Shipp of Littlefield; nieces and nephews, Aaron Coulter, Lane Coulter, Mallorie Lawson, Ja’Nae Lawson and Sebastian Coulter; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  
    She is preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Laurence Coulter; grandfather, Miller Shipp; and grandparents, Myron and Grace Coulter.  
    The family suggests memorials to Joyful Heart Foundation.
