Guy Will Zant
Guy Will Zant, 47, of Vealmoor, TX passed away Friday, November 11, 2022.
The funeral service will be held at Nalley Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel, at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 16, 2022 with interment to follow at Vealmoor Cemetery.
Guy Will was born February 12, 1975 in Big Spring, TX to Patricia Underwood Zant and the late Guy Fil Zant. Guy Will attended Borden County Schools and also attended Howard College in Big Spring. He had been a master technician for Western Container and had worked as a pumper in the oil fields.
At an early age he developed a love of and talent for music. He played guitar and wrote songs. While in high school he formed a band and continued to play various events and occasions over the years.
He was a kindhearted, giving young man who was known to reach out to and help others. Guy Will loved to hunt and fish, and was good at roping and riding. He was full of life and energy. The love of his life was watching the boys play football. He was a lifelong member of the Vealmoor Church of Christ.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patricia and Mark Kennemer, of Ackerly; his two sons, Payden Guy and Kooper Guy, and their mother, Mika Peterson; his uncles and aunts, Ray Don and Jana Underwood, Kathy Underwood and David Goodman, Adam Johnston, Ty and Mindy Zant, Joe and Kelly Zant, David and Sheila Armstrong, and Diane Zant; his step-siblings, Chad Kennemer, Meagan Kennemer, Ben Leonard, Audra Leonard, and April Kennemer; his cousins, Raylea Underwood, Robbie and Patsy Kleck, Jace, Jackson, Charlea, Foster, Will, Steel and Slate; as well as four second cousins, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Kirk Jones, Shane Ward, Klint Kemper, Justin Jenkins, Clay Parker, and Wes Higgins. Honorary pallbearers are Wyndel Culp, Hunter Jones, Curt Rinehart, and Stan Smith.
The family suggests memorial donations be directed to the Boys Ranch in Lubbock, TX or to the Ackerly Volunteer Fire Department.
