Fred Dean Smith

    Fred Dean Smith, 83, of Mineola, TX, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2023.
    Fred was born on February 11, 1940 in Lamesa, TX to the late Montell and Etta Mae Smith.
    He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Fred is survived by Lou Smith, and their children: Denise and Garey Womack, Eugene McSchooler, Terry and Becky Smith, Debbie Smith, Monte Smith,
and Melody Smith. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his twin brother, Gene Smith.
    Fred was preceded in death by his parents, his son Jerald McSchooler, and great grandson Caleb Ray Smith.
    Fred was a master electrician and worked alongside his sons at FRED and SONS ELECTRIC in Lamesa, Texas.
    Fred worshipped at the First Church of the Nazarene, Mineola, Texas, and he was a Gideon for many years.
