Ester Ambriz

    Graveside funeral services for Ester Ambriz, age 89, of Amarillo, TX., and formerly of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the Dawson County Cemetery, with Pastor Abel Hernandez officiating. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Face masks are required at the funeral home and cemetery. Due to the current area Covid-19 situation we continue to practice public safety measures.
    Visitation will be held on Friday November 120, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home, with an Inspirational service starting at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Abel Hernandez.
    Ester was called home by her loving God, on Tuesday, November 17,2020 in Amarillo, TX. 
    She was born on February 6, 1931 in Sebastian, TX. Ester married Eustolio Ambriz on August 16, 1967 in Lamesa, TX. 
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Eustolio Ambriz; her parents, Lazaro and Amalia Garcia; her sons, Robert Garcia, and Ruben Garcia.
    Ester enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, quilting, and crochet. She had a great passion of witnessing her faith to others. 
    Ester is survived by her daughters, Lesvia Rodriguez and son-in-law, Gilbert Rodriguez of Amarillo, TX., Yolanda Morales of Lubbock, TX., Sylvia Garcia of San Antonio, TX., and Ida Coy of Sebastian, TX.; several relatives, and friends.
