Memorial services for Estela Walton age 41 of Lamesa will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 15, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial service arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.

Estela passed away on Monday July 20, 2020 at the Granbury Medical Center in Granbury, TX.

She was born on May 4, 1979 in Lamesa, TX. to Pedro and Estela Cortez.

She was preceded in death her son, Aquila Nelson; and her father, Pedro Cortez.

Estela is survived by her mother, Estela Cortez; her nine children, Anastasia Walton, Kinsasha Walton, Damien Walton, Austin Alvear, Ivan Cortez, Mariah Nelson, Russell Nelson, Derrick Nelson, and Rihanna Nelson; six grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Perez, Irma Cortez, Brenda Cortes and husband, David Sanchez, Melissa Gaitan and husband Raul Castillo, Angie Hernandez, and Irene Garcia; her brothers, Julio Cortez, Melquiades Cortez, Erineo Cortez, Pedro Cortez, Jr., Anivar Cortez, and Steve Cortez; numerous relatives and friends.
