Encarnation 'Chon' Ogeda

    Encarnation “Chon” Ogeda, 72, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 in Lamesa. 
    He was born July 6, 1949 in Lamesa, TX. to Eloiso and Betty (Barrella) Ogeda. Chon loved his children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters so much. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends. He was employed with Dawson County in the road maintenance department. 
    Chon is survived by his children, Benjamin Ogeda, Mark Ogeda and Luz Ogeda all of Lamesa; sister, Josie Solis of Lamesa; brothers, Isidro Ogeda and wife, Stella, Abaristo Ogeda and wife, Lucy, all of Lamesa; and nine grandchildren. 
    He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Veronica Ogeda; two grandsons, Salvador Antonio Narango and Christopher Narango; sisters, Cruz Rodriguez and Maria Vela; and brothers, Tomas Ogeda and Juan Ogeda.
