Donald Rebber

    Funeral service for Donald Louis Rebber, 82, of Lamesa will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Alan Korinek officiating, under the care and direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 at Branon Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 
     Don passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Lamesa, TX. 
    He was born October 24, 1940 in Kingsbury, TX. to Reverend J. Arthur and Edna (Brand) Rebber. He married Martha Ann Watson April 18, 1959 in Lamesa, TX.  They were married 64 years.
    Don read his bible every day and had a strong belief in his faith as he witnessed it to everyone. He was very proud to have retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after having worked there for over 21 years. He was an avid carpenter and loved his family with all his heart. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and the guys that he enjoyed having coffee with at McDonald’s.
     He is survived by his wife, Martha Rebber of Lamesa; daughters, Rhonda Rebber and Robin Rebber both of Lamesa; son, Ricky Rebber and wife Rhonda of Colorado; seven grandsons; and four great grandchildren.
     He is preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers, John A. Rebber, Paul E. Rebber, William H. Rebber; and a grandson,Taran Kelley.
     The family suggests memorials be sent to the Grace Lutheran Church of Lamesa at 1002 N.11th St., Lamesa, Texas 79331.
