Donald Hughes

    Donald Wayne Hughes, 70, of Lamesa passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Lamesa, Texas with his son by his side.  
    He was born July 20, 1952, in Lamesa, Tx. to F.W. Hughes, Jr. and LaVelle (Aldridge) Hughes. 
    Donald was a successful businessman and an avid golf player who loved to travel. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
    He is survived by his son, Paul Hughes of Austin, Tx. and sister, Denise Barron and husband Steve of Lamesa, Tx.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Miranda Hughes.
    The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
