    A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Clemente Olvera age 80 of Lamesa, TX. at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Sylvester Dsouza officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    The visitation will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
    Clemente passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Lamesa, TX. He was born on October 11, 1944, in San Luis Potosi, MX. Clemente married Elisa O’Balle on May 17, 1972, in Lamesa, TX.
    Clemente was preceded in death by his father, Bardomieno Olvera, his mother, Natalia Olvera; brothers, Roberto Olvera, Prisco Olvera, Valente Medina, Juan Medina. Clemente is survived by his wife, Elisa Olvera of Lamesa, TX.; daughter, Adelita Garcia (Noe Garcia) of Lamesa, TX.; sons, Clemente Olvera II (Herminia Olvera) of Lamesa, TX., and Bardomieno Olvera (Sarah Olvera) of Lamesa, TX.; grandsons, Joseph Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Clemente Olvera III, Angel Olvera, Martin Olvera, all of Lamesa, TX.; grand-daughter, Bella Nayeli Garcia of Lamesa, TX.; great-grand-daughters, Arianna Renee Garcia of Lubbock, TX., and
Azyrah Olvera of Lamesa, TX.; great-grandsons, Azariah Olvera, and Santiago Olvera, both of Lamesa, TX.; brothers, Felipe Olvera of Mexico, and Hijino Olvera of Lamesa, TX.; Clemente’s furry loving dog Nano; daughter-in-law, Veronica Valdez; numerous relatives and friends.
