Clarence Whitley

    Clarence Whitely, age 69, died in his home on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. 
    Services are pending with Griffin Mortuary Funeral Home & Chapel of Lubbock.
    Clarence was born September 12, 1950 in Lamesa Texas to Pearl and General Whitely. 
    He was proceeded in death by his father General Whitely, sister Johnnie Mae Chamber, brothers Clinton Chamber Jr. and Freddie Lee Chamber, and also great niece Champagne Woods.
    Clarence is survived by his mother, Pearl Butler of Lamesa; a son, Gregory Scott; sisters, Pearl and husband Aaron Manuel and Debra and husband Tony Alexander, both of Lamesa; a brother Steve Alexander of Lamesa; three grandchildren from Marysville, California, and a host of nieces and nephews.
