Cindy Murray

    Graveside service for Cindy Lee Murray, 83, of Lamesa, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Adams officiating.  
    Visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. 
    Cindy passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 in Lamesa, Texas surrounded by her loved ones.
    She was born June 18, 1938 in Lamesa, TX. and was blessed to be raised by C.L. and Ellen (Williams) Houston. Cindy married Hulan Murray in Houston, TX.; they were married 43 years.
    Cindy worked many years at Baldwins Department Store and was a fun lady who loved to tell jokes and make everyone laugh and laugh. She was kind to everyone she met and was always the center of attention.
    She is survived by her husband, Hulan Murray; children, Kalli Bock and husband Rick of Lubbock, Ami Standefer and husband Marvin of Lamesa, Brad Archer and wife Ettie of Lamesa, Dana Kidd of College Station, and Jay Murray of San Antonio; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; one niece, and her beloved puppy “Rowdy”.
    Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Paul Edward “Uncle Butch” Stanley.
    Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home.
