Carmen  Arismendez     

    Funeral mass for Carmen Arismendez, 68, of Lamesa will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Sylvester Dsouza officiating. Burial will follow to Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.
    Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 3;00 pm to 9;00 pm and Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 9;00 am to 9;00 pm. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024, and Thursday December 5, 2024, at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa, Texas.
    Carmen passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 19, 1956, in Robstown Texas to Manuel and Candeleria (Gonzalez) Arce. She married Blas Arismendez on September 20,1975 in Lamesa, Texas. They were married 49 years. Together they owned and operated Arismendez Construction. Carmen loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She also loved cooking, family gatherings, and travelling with her family. She will be missed by her family.
    Carmen is survived by her husband, Blas Arismendez of Lamesa; her beloved sons, Christopher Lee Arismendez and wife Gina and Michael Lynn Arismendez and wife, Julie of Lamesa; grandchildren, Justin Ryan Arismendez, Christopher Joseph Arismendez and wife, Emily, Joshua Cole Arismendez, Malia Jiselle Arismendez, Megan Arismendez, fiancée Shay Coleman, Stephen Arismendez, and Izabella Arismendez; and one great granddaughter Camilla Mae Arismendez to be born December 19th; sister, Diana Smith of North Carolina and brother, Alex Arce and wife Elizabeth of California. 
    She is preceded in death by her parents.
