Buddy Brandon

    Funeral service for Buddy Brandon, 65, of Lamesa will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Tobey Clements officiating. 
    Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery. 
    Visitation will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Buddy passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Big Spring, Texas.  
    He was born November 5, 1955 in Lamesa, Texas to Roy Lee and Betty Lou (Crutcher) Brandon. He married Connie Middleton on August 25, 1978 in Lamesa, Texas.  They were married 43 years.
    Buddy retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a truck driver and always a cowboy.
    He is survived by his wife, Connie Brandon of Lamesa; children, Leslie Harper and husband Michael of Arlington, TX, and Dewayne Brandon and wife Colleen of Farmers Branch, TX.; mother, Betty Lou Crutcher Brandon of San Angelo, TX.; sisters, Jo Schooler of Ira, TX, Sharan Bush and husband Randy of San Angelo, TX., and Brenda Capps and husband Billy of Big Spring, TX.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by his father Roy Lee Brandon.
