Bobby Davis

    Funeral services for Bobby Davis, 74, of Lamesa, will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at Church of the Nazarene with Lee Lennon officiating. 
    Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Branon Funeral Home.
    Bobby passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on January 28, 1944 in Stephenville, Texas to Dan and Minnie (Little) Davis. 
    He married Lynette Webb on March 21, 1999 in Lamesa. He retired from Oxy as a Lease Operator (Pumper). He loved fishing, football, and wrestling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends and cherished his grandchildren. Bobby had a great sense of humor and liked to tease the ones he cared about most, which usually resulted in him giving them a nickname. He was a friend’s friend and considered his closest friends to be family.
    Bobby is survived by his wife, Lynette of Lamesa; children, Bobby Dean Davis of Montgomery, Dennis Brackeen of Houston, Danny Brackeen and wife, Brandi, of Lamesa, Bobby Jack Sisson and wife, Shana, of Brownfield, and Josh Sisson and wife, Heather, of Panama City, Florida; brother, George Davis and wife, Elaine, of Lamesa; grandchildren, Jordan Brackeen, McKenzie Brackeen-Autry, Athan Brackeen, Tori Burkhalter, Justin Davis, Ryan Davis, Hunter Sisson, McKayla Sisson, Austin Sisson, Matthew Sisson and Andrew Sisson; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
    Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, L.A. Davis, Dan Davis, Ruby Jarrett, Ruth Mayfield, Thelma Hargrove, and Josie Fitzgerald.
