Ava Hallmark

    Graveside service for Ava Lee Hallmark, 90, of Lamesa will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Ben Phipps and Stephen Gary officiating. 
    Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Ava passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Lamesa, Texas.
    She was born March 9, 1932 in Yell County, Arkansas to George and Susan (Womack) Jean. She married Woodrow Hallmark April 20, 1985 in Weatherford, Texas. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church and Medical Arts Auxiliary. 
    Ava had a good farm life, she loved to sew for her family and loved canning and freezing different kinds of foods.
    Ava is survived by her children, Mike Cline and wife Peggy of Lamesa, Texas, Danny Cline and wife Jeanette of Lamesa, Texas, Kelli Roberson and husband Benny of Stephenville, Texas and daughter-in-law Karla Cline of Plainview; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Susan Jean; husband, Woodrow Hallmark; son, Randy Cline; granddaughter Amy Turner, and brother, J.E. Jean.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
