Anthony Rodriguez

    Anthony Joe Rodriguez, age 34, of Lubbock, Texas was welcomed by his heavenly Father on December 4, 2023, in Seymour, Texas. Anthony was born on September 27, 1989, in Lubbock, Texas to Johnny and Josie Rodriguez, Sr. Anthony spent his childhood years in Tahoka, Texas and later moved to Lubbock where he graduated from Richard Milburn Academy in 2008. He worked as a template designer for Rock Tops Granite and Stone in Plainview, Texas.
    Anthony had a personality and smile that was bigger than life itself. He was definitely the “life of the party” who brightened up every room he was in. He had a big heart and would do anything to help out a brother or friend in need. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Anthony was very talented and you could always find him singing, rapping, cutting someone’s hair, drawing, painting, or fishing. Anthony shared a beautiful life with his girlfriend Kimberly Perez, whom he loved till his last breath. He adored his beautiful children Kaysen Chase & Paisly Rae’Lynn and cherished every single moment with them.
    Anthony was preceded in death by his father Johnny Esparza Rodriguez Sr. and his loving girlfriend Kimberly Perez.
    Survived by his mother: Josie Rodriguez; children: Kaysen Chase and Paisley Rae’Lynn; brother(s): Johnny Rodriguez Jr., Ricky Rodriguez, Fabian Rodriguez; and sister: Melissa Pedroza.
    Anthony left many memories and loved all 17 nephews and nieces as well as his two great nephews. 
    Anthony’s life has left an impact on all his relatives and friends, touching the hearts of everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed.
    A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at First Baptist Church in O’Donnell, Texas. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Officiant Pastor Taylor Wood.
