    A Celebration of Life for Amber Donee Gavin, 57, of Lamesa, will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brandon Littlepage officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Viewing will begin Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.
    Amber passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born March 14, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas to Don Gavin and Sandra Kay Robinson Gavin.
    Amber was a nurse for many years, who was soft spoken and free spirited. Her favorite time spent was with her grandkids (because her kids were a pain in the butt). She never met a stranger that didn’t become her friend. She was a lover, a hugger... a fighter and a survivor.
    Amber is survived by her children, Dustin Aten, Amanda Aten, Brett Aten, Cody Hogg, and Jessica Hogg; mother, Sandra Kay Robinson; sisters, Kelli Hoffman, and Amy Tosten; brother, Randy Gavin; and 19 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Don Gavin and her grandfather William Orrin Robinson.
