Allie Rinewalt

    Funeral service for Allie Marie Rinewalt, 98, of Lamesa will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Mark Hackett officiating.  A burial will follow in Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home.
    Allie Marie passed away December 27, 2023, in Lamesa.  She was born March 21, 1925, to Luther Wayne and Velma (Livingston) Borland in Snyder, Texas. 
    Allie Marie was a survivor, after her husband William Rinewalt, Jr. passed away in 2008, she took over the farm. She loved working in her garden planting many vegetables and bringing them into town to give away. She also loved to crochet afghans which she left to her sisters.
    Marie is survived by her sister, Nina Acuff Freese and husband Victor of Amarillo, and Berta Vogler of Lamesa.
    Marie is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Miller; brothers, Jake Borland, and Hollis Borland.
