Alejandro Mejia

      Mr. Alejandro Mejia, age 66, passed peacefully on November 2, 2022 at 3:19pm while in his home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila on October 27, 1956.
   Alejandro will forever be loved and missed by his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Estela Mejia, his five children, Lucy, Susana, Mayra, Alex Jr., and Blanca. 9 grandchildren, Sergio, Jessie, Destiny Briana, Mireya, Eisarey, Cyrus, Natalya, Mia, and Ezekiel. 6 great-grandchildren, Gisselle, Sergio Jr, Margarita, Kynlie, Khloe, and Kamryn.
   A special thank you to his wife, Estela, his daughter, Mayra, and his grand-daughter, Destiny Briana, who tirelessly fought the good fight along his side.
  Alejandro enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, his chihuahua, Camila, and had a passion for cotton ginning and driving his module truck; he also enjoyed farming, landscaping, and listening to his favorite radio station, “La Rancherita Del Aire.” Alejandro was employed at Arvana Gin for 34 years and was a member of La Trinidad Methodist Church.
   At Alejandro’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Cremation services will be performed by Grace Funeral and Cremation Care in Lubbock, TX.
