Klondike’s boys basketball team continues sitting alone at the top of the District 6-1A standings, but first the Cougars had to get over somewhat a sluggish start last Friday night against Loop at Cougar Gym.After finding themselves up by only five (15-10) at the end of the first quarter, the Cougars outscored the Longhorns, 51-38, in the final three quarters to capture the 66-48 victory.With the win, Klondike’s boys are now 14-4 overall and 5-0 in 6-1A action.“We’re halfway through (district).
