Randy Culp

    Funeral service for Randy Culp, 57, of Lamesa will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lamesa with Pastor Jim Medley officiating. Burial will follow to Hancock Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Branon Funeral Home, Lamesa, TX. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Randy passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, Lamesa, TX. He was born on May 17,1967, to Ronnie Culp and Janice (Wiggins) Culp. Randy graduated from Lamesa High School in 1985. He then played football for Tarleton State University, where he earned All American NAIA offensive lineman. He graduated from Tarleton State University in 1990.
    On April 4, 1997, Randy married Kristi Hendon in Ruidoso, New Mexico. They have made a wonderful life together for 27 years and have three beautiful children whom he was proud of. He loved farming and had an odd attraction with tractor pulls. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and close friends.
    Randy is survived by his wife, Kristi Culp of Lamesa; children, Taylor Culp of Bluff Dale, Kelley Culp of Frisco and Clayton Culp and fiancé Cody Luzadder of Seattle, Washington; his mother, Janice Culp of Tahoka; and sister, Angela Manuel and husband, David of Bryan. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie; grandparents, Bonnie and Ethel Culp and Loyd and Alma Wiggins.
