Borden County’s basketball girls turned in a solid fourth place team showing at last weekend’s Whiteface Tournament.“We’ve been playing a tough schedule with a team with very little varsity basketball experience. Our girls are growing up as we continue learning along the way,” BC Coach Lindsey Schmidt said.After winning two out of their first three games in this tournament, the Coyote girls lost the third place game to Shallowater’s JV, 62-54. The Gail girls were up, 21-13, at the half of that game.Addie Schmidt’s 27 points led all Borden County scoring against the Fillies JV. Harbor Hill had nine points.
