Dawson County commissioners agreed Nov. 25 to begin the process on an energy supplier’s request for a tax abatement.County Judge Foy O’Brien announced Longview Wind LLC submitted an application for the tax abatement.The commissioners’ acceptance kick starts the process.“That’s the first step in this,” O’Brien said. “When you approve the application, that starts the wheel in motion.“All it says is Dawson County is interested.
