Elaine Kay Davis

    Graveside service for Elaine Kay Davis, 79, of Lamesa will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Lee Lennon officiating.  Visitation will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Elaine passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Lamesa surrounded by her family. She was born August 2, 1945, in Lamesa, Texas to John Thurman Patterson and Lora Lou (Jackson) Patterson.  She married George Davis on January 20, 1962, in Welch, Texas. They were married 57 years.  
    Elaine loved her family unconditionally and made it a point to spend quality time with them.  She loved shopping, decorating, and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Sharla Lee of Lamesa, Shayla Cates and husband, Michael of Lamesa and Randee Parker of Meadow; ten grandchildren, Shaina, Nikki, Trevor, Brady, Bryan, Brayson, Enzo, Daylon, Cami, and Jace; and eight great grandchildren.  Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; son, Gary Lane Davis; sisters, Jo Nell Aslin, Joyce Laverne Lee and Shirley Mae Jones; and son-in-law, Mike Lee.
