Lamesa school members recognized nine staff members who are one of the most important necessities when it comes to operating a school district: the custodial staff. Albert Martinez, Jr. (right) and his staff attended the board’s Nov. 21 meeting to talk about their work and their dedication in making sure everything is clean and ready for teachers to teach and students to learn when the school day begins.
