A Facebook page from the City of Lamesa stated the Lamesa Boys and Girls Club are holding off on its basketball program and its Open House this week.The post doesn’t give specifics as to why except the cancellations are due to “unforeseen circumstances.”Claudia Morales, club director, and City Manager Joe Hines could not be reached for comment.The Open House had been scheduled Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the club house.All activities outside the club’s “normal operations” are canceled until further notice, according to the Facebook post.Those activities include the club’s new basketball program and this week’s Open ...
