Yolanda Barron (fifth from right) retired Oct. 18 from Walker Sims Oil Co./ Swift Stop after exactly 25 years with the company. She originally started as a cashier at the old Anne’s Mini Mart, and eventually worked her way up to manager. She took over the rebuilt store, Swift Stop #4, in 2015 when it was constructed. The company held a special retirement dinner for her at Cagle’s Steak House in Lubbock on Oct. 26, where current and former members of the store’s management team gathered to celebrate Yolanda.
