They’re future mechanics, business owners, nurses, lawyers and engineers, but for now they’re 33 Lamesa High School (LHS) students who became the first members of the school’s National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).They were formally inducted Tuesday morning into the newly established organization in the high school’s new gym.“We gather here today to celebrate the accomplishments of an extraordinary group of students,” said LHS Principal Nate Gensler. “These young individuals have demonstrated exceptional dedication, hard work and academic achievement in their chosen fields.”LHS students are offered the chance to enroll in Career and Technology Education (CTE) studies such as in welding,
