Unless you’ve already signed up for it, it’s too late to register for a parking space or to join in the costume contests for the Trunk-or-Treat festivities being held on the downtown square Thursday.The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce ended the registration for those contests Monday.The annual community Halloween party begins at 5:30 p.m. and doesn’t end until 7:30 p.m. on the downtown square.Come Halloween night, the square will be filled with decorated vehicles and booths where trick-or-treaters can go to get free candy.The chamber and the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation are hosting the events.The 28 participants who registered for ...
