The deadline for contestants interested in competing in the annual Miss Merry Christmas Pageant is only a week away and organizers are searching for more entries.Registration for newborn to high school age contestants ends Nov. 1.“We have a pretty good turn out so far, but we are nowhere near the number of contestants we had last year. We are needing to fill some spots in all age groups,” said one of the pageant’s co-organizers, Melody Gonzales.The pageant begins at 1:30 p.m., Nov. 30 in the Lamesa High School (LHS) Auditorium.
