The cases of dangerous drugs are down, according to a report Lamesa Police Department Chief Josh Peterson presented to city council members Oct. 15.In the past, Peterson said, dangerous drugs made up 40-percent of calls made to his department. That number diminished to 10.36-percent during the past 12-month period.“When we first started, dangerous drugs were the major crime,” Peterson said.
