ANDREWS - A fuel tanker crash early Tuesday, involving a spill, led to the closure of a major highway most of that day, according to county officials.The accident occurred west of Andrews on State Highway 176 when the fuel transport truck tipped onto its passenger side and a fuel leak ensued,m Andrews County Emergency management Coordinator mike Cook said.The truck driver was not injured in the accident, according to Cook.However, the fuel spill resulted in State Highway 176 being shut down from FM 181 to the state line for approximately 13 hours, the emergency management coordinator said.– From the Andrews ...
