Every Christmas season, the community donates new unwrapped toys and clothing through the Lights of Love program.The organization’s volunteers take those donations and distribute them to where they are needed: area families who’ve registered to receive the gifts.The 2024 Lights of Love program is accepting applications starting from Oct. 22 through Dec. 2.Parents or guardians of Dawson County children may complete an application at West Texas Opportunities (WT0) requesting assistance with Christmas gifts.To begin the process, children’s parents or legal guardians must call the WTO office at (806) 872-8354 and make an appointment in order to fill out an application.This ...
