It’s taken almost a decade, but the O’Donnell Volunteer Fire Department finally has its new fire truck.The department paid for the $260,000 new Freight liner pumper truck through a grant from the Texas Forest Service and matching funds.“We just got it yesterday,” said Fire Chief Willie Villarreal Monday.The new truck, dubbed ODF3, is the third in the department’s fleet. It replaces another pumper truck that’s been part of the fire department probably for about 10 years.
