A work crew was out this week to demolish a former motel on the corner of N. Ave. S and Seminole Hwy.The project isn’t being done by the city. It’s the property owner that’s doing the demolishing.“We hadn’t gotten to it yet. We had nothing to do with this,” said City Building Inspector Brian Beck. “It’s a private transaction, and the new owner wanted it gone.”The building has long been vacant.
