Three teams of O’Donnell High School (OHS) barbecue students not only met the requirements for the fifth consecutive year to compete at the state level after capturing regional awards Saturday, they also won the top prizes.Two of the high school’s teams earned the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles in a contest that brought out 26 other high school barbecue teams from Lamesa, New Deal, Big Spring, Midland, Frenship, the Ector County school district in Odessa, Levelland, Big Lake, Amarillo, Greenwood and Midland Hillcrest.The grilling contest was held at OHS Saturday.
