Kenna Richilla “Richi” Laurens

    Kenna Richilla “Richi” Laurens Rogers passed away on August 30th, 2024 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Richi was born on March 5, 1991 to Joyce Laurens. She graduated from Lamesa High School in 2009. Richi attended Texas Women’s University in Denton where she received a Bachelors in Dance Education in 2013. Richi married the love of her life Aaron Jason Rogers on June 17, 2022. They became a family with the other love of her life, her son, Raylan Weldon Laurens.
    Richi loved to dance, be nerdy and take amazing trips with her husband and her son. She was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, super sister, and a beautiful daughter. Richi was a caring and loving person.
    Richi is survived by her husband Aaron Rogers, her son Raylan Laurens, her mother Joyce Laurens, her father-in-law Doug Rogers, and her mother-in-law Jacala Ashley. She is also survived by her brother Sam Laurens, her grandparents Weldon and Fredda Cook and Virginia Laurens, her Uncles and Aunts David and Pam Cook, Donny Cook, and Vicki Rosson-Bullard, and her Cousins Courtney and Amanda Cook.
    Funeral service for Kenna Richilla “Richi” Rogers, 33, of Odessa will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Sam Burgeon officiating.. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home.
