Justin Paul White
After a courageous battle, on September 2, 2024, Justin’s body was restored and made whole in his heavenly home. Justin Paul White was born on June 25, 1976 in Big Spring, Texas and was raised in Lamesa, Texas. Everyone loved Justin from an early age. They seemed to gravitate toward him, as he just had a special way with people. He was the first grandson on both sides
of the family and the cousins deemed him “the favorite” to which he reluctantly agreed. He was an extremely protective brother (too protective if you ask JJ) and those instincts carried over into fatherhood.
Justin graduated from Lamesa High School in 1995. He began his college career at Tarleton State University on a vocal scholarship. However, as a man who marched to the beat of his own drum, Justin made the most of his time in higher education
and his journey led him on a “tour of many campuses.” During his adventures he had a college band called, “Justin Time”. He eventually found his path at San Juan Community College where he graduated and completed the David H Paul Water Treatment
program.
Water was his lane. He was a guru at fluids and quite the expert on the subjects. Many may not have had even the slightest clue that he was a genius when it came to such things. Justin traveled the world with his water program with his favorite locations being Singapore and Japan. He was very proud of the company he built with his life long friends, Blue Koi.
On June 18, 2005 Justin married the love of his life, Melissa. She was a gem in his eyes and she was his rock as much as he was hers. They brought out the best in one another and built a beautiful family. They raised four spectacular children; Lennon, Bailey, Madison, and Mason and he would have considered them his four greatest achievements… five if you count Melissa. Justin would talk about his children and his eyes would light up. Nothing made him more proud. He never missed an opportunity
to support them, be there for them, cheer for them, make sure they used their manners, embarrass them, or get a rise out of them. He simply never missed a moment. Justin made it a ritual on the way to school to “test their reflexes” and it drove them crazy. He was adamant about never leaving without saying, “I love you” and he made sure his kids knew how much he loved them. This was his pride and joy. This was his legacy.
To know Justin was to love Justin and when Justin loved you, he loved you BIG! He was fiercely loyal and someone you
could always rely on to have your back or be your biggest cheerleader. Justin was a devoted friend, father, son, brother, and grandpa. He was very proud of the title, “Papa Dubs” to which he earned upon the arrival of his two grandsons, Jericho and
Troy.
Justin never met a stranger and was the life of the party. Justin’s favorite thing to do was to take the kids out to the lake or cook out. He liked to smoke that bbq - and EVERYONE was always welcome. He was adventurous, a “yes” man, and teasing you was his love language. Justin loved music and was quite the songbird in the car. Those that knew him, knew that he NEVER
worried about the time. He would invite you over for dinner at 6 and not feed you until 10. His close family and friends are actually curious if he is in fact, going to be late to his own funeral. While Justin was vivacious and full of life, he was also very humble and never wanted a fuss to be made about him.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa and four children Mason, Madison, Bailey, and Lennon and wife Amanda; two Grandchildren, Jericho and Troy; parents, Donna & Jay White; Sister, Julia (JJ) Stokes and husband Casey; Mother and father-in-law, Sallie and Jerry Lambright; Sister-in-law Amber Hogg and husband Waylan; Brother-in-law Brady Lambright and wife Avery; as well as several nephews and a niece. Justin was preceded in death by grandparents, Nola & Bill Howard and Gus and Helen White.
More than anything, Justin’s life was a testament of the fruit that he bore. Jesus was Lord of his life and he led his family in a dedicated way. He made a profession of faith early on in his life but was later baptized alongside his oldest daughter, Bailey. Justin walked the walk and he talked the talk. He would give you the shirt off his back or a listening ear. You could always count on a smile and a “heyyy”. His presence and the light he carried will be irreplaceable but all of our lives will forever be marked and
changed because we knew him.
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” - Dr. Seuss
