Mesa Underground Water Conservation District board members Wednesday slightly increased the tax rate and approved the 20242025 budget.They agreed to set the ad valorem tax rate at .015309-cents per $100 valuation. The increase from the current 0.01422-cents per $100 valuation is a 0.001287cent increase.“We have done really, really good in keeping our tax rate low,” said General Manager Jacob Hernandez. “This number is jumping up a little bit from last year’s rate.“We have the smallest tax rate in the county.”The district expects to collect $179,623 in total revenues.
