The City of Lamesa is in search of a new municipal court judge after the one hired in January resigned.City council members went into executive session last week to interview four applicants seeking the position.Jairo Holguin, a Big Spring practicing attorney, took up the municipal court judgeship in January to replace one who retired late last year after 40 years with the city.He left the city’s employment earlier this month to take up a position in the Dawson County Attorney’s office.
