A representative of a law firm that collects overdue traffic fines for the county went before county commissioners Tuesday to give an update.Danny Barrett, office manager of the firm’s Lubbock office, informed Dawson County commissioners about the collections.Violators have up to 60 days to pay their fines. If they don’t, the firm begins its efforts to collect those unpaid tickets.The county pays nothing for the service.
