Dawson County Hospital District board members approved a resolution Tuesday that will allow the district to obtain funding from the Opioid Abatement Fund Council.For now, the district could receive $257,000 spread out in payments over a 16 year period. They can only spend it on one area: education.By approving the resolution, board members were required to name someone to handle the district distribution funds.
