Dawson County commissioners are holding two meetings on one day as they work on the budget.They are holding a budget workshop session on the 2024-2025 budget starting at 3 p.m., today.An hour later at 4 p.m., they will conduct their regular meeting.In that meeting, commissioners will vote on issuing a credit card for the district attorney, a Digiticket agreement for the sheriff’s office, and an interlocal agreement with Lubbock County to house Dawson County inmates.Commissioners will also decide on purchasing new vehicles for the sheriff’s office and the juvenile probation office.They will take action on designating someone to calculate and ...
