Lee Strickland’s daughter and widow remember him as a kind man who loved working the land, serving the community as a soldier and police officer; and who created fond life-long family memories.Even four years after his passing and over four decades of marriage and fatherhood, there are a lot of things they didn’t know about him.They were hoping to re-discover him as they toured the archives and published articles about his service and achievements.Lee died Aug. 24, 2020 in Terrell at the age of 72.
