A historic home’s days are numbered.The three-story house that once graced Halloween parties, social events and couples’ honeymoons is set to be demolished.Contractors began working this week on preparing the 107-year-old house, commonly called the Dalmont/Simpson home after its previous property owners, for demolition.Contractors first cleared out the vegetation and parts of a chain link fence from the back yard before returning Wednesday to remove the decorative concrete borders along the front lawn.
