Whether it’s the food, the tournaments or the entertainment, Lamesa’s annual Independence Day celebration has it all.The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an all day affair Thursday at Forrest Park.The party begins with a 5K Walk/Run starting with registration at 7:30 a.m. with the event beginning at 8 a.m. Registration is $35 for those 15 and older; and $20 for those 14 and under.
