OHS seniors compete for O’Donnell rodeo queen title

Two contenders vying for the queen title in next month’s O’Donnell Biggest Little Rodeo in Texas have been announced.Brenna Renteria and Karrigan James are seeking the title.The rodeo, presented by Mitch Hall, opens at 7:30 p.m. nightly July 11-13 at the rodeo arena in O’Donnell on Hwy. 87.This year’s rodeo queen will be crowned July 11.She will receive a crown, an O’Donnell Roping Club Scholarship for $1,000, and $1 for every $10 ticket she sells.The candidate selling the most tickets wins the crown.
