A Sparenberg High School graduate recently celebrated her 100th birthday with cake, balloons and visits from family and friends.Eleanor (McNeely) Patton was born on April 26, 1924 in Sudan in Lamb County, which reportedly had a population of 940 residents in 2020. She grew up on a farm south of Lamesa.“My grandparents had a farm just outside of Lamesa.
